CHENNAI: Tamil actor Vanitha Vijayakumar lodged a cheating complaint against a film distributor at the Chennai city police commissioner's office on Tuesday.
Vanitha, daughter of actors Vijayakumar and Manjula, told reporters that her production company - Vanitha Film Production -- had recently produced a movie, titled "MGR, Sivaji, Rajini, Kamal." The movie was released on Friday.
She appointed Vibrant Movies to distribute the film. However, Vibrant Movies had released the film only in 25 theatres as against the contract terms of around 80 theatres, she said.
