People just can't believe what Nithya Menon has said about Raghava Lawrence and she rated him much above legendary Mani Ratnam.
When quizzed has she learnt anything from Mani Ratnam, Nithya says she learns something from even children but with the acclaimed filmmaker its more like a fun experience as he has no ego what-so-ever.
At the same time, Nithya wonders why no one asks her the same question about Lawrence and 'Ganga - Muni 3'. She remembers having no clue how to play the character of 'Ganga' when Lawrence narrated it to her but she signed the film as she was curious to know how she would play the character which is completely different from her. "'Ganga - Muni 3' is my toughest film till date and I learnt a lot from it. After doing 35 films, I had to ask Lawrence to show me what should be done," she says.
Nithya Menon heaped praises on Lawrence whom she claims to be very fond of! She says the Choreographer-turned-Filmmaker is a good human being and they share a great rapport.
