KURNOOL: Two police constables in their twenties were found dead with bullet injuries in the police quarters premises in Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh this evening, a senior police officer said.
The two policemen were identified as Veeresh (25), a civil constable, and Murali Krishna (25), a constable attached to the Armed Reserve, IG (Rayalseema) Venugopal Krishna said.
Police suspected that they had a quarrel following which they shot at each other, he said.
"Both of them suffered bullet injuries. We have to verify the matter... What type of quarrel led to the incident we are yet to get any clue," the IGP told PTI over Phone. Further investigations were on. PTI
